I've hit a channels limit, what does this mean?
This means you've had enough concurrent channels to surpass your limit or hit a warning. Your peak channels figure is the maximum number of channels active at any one time.
There are three types of channels limits you can hit:
- channels.warning - when you reach 80% of your quota.
- channels.soft - when your quota has been exceeded.
Should you exceed your soft limit:
- For free and PAYG accounts: This is for information only
- For all other accounts: You may be charged overages at your agreed rate for exceeding your channels limit for extended periods of time
- channels.hard - when the hard limit on the account has been exceeded. You will not be able to create new channels until you're below your hard limit.
If you need the ability to have more channels, we recommend you upgrade your account.
